So I am taking the JLPT N1 this December! I wil be flying out to London for this. (Yay~!)
To keep track of my progress I will take notes here. I want to try this since I read this blogpost earlier today: http://www.cute-pop.com/attempting-jlpt-n1-2/
Sadly I don't have Japanese classes and I do have a fulltime job so I hope I can make enough time for studying.
First of all I use the Shin Kanzen Master books to prepaire for the test. According to the book most chapters take 1 to 2 hours to complete. I also realy like and recomand the teachers an lessons at www.nihongonomori.com ! Also gives me the feeling I am taking real lessons while I'm not. Including the work I have already done and the things I want to review I plan to at least finish this workload before December:
Grammar: 62 hours
Kanji: 38 hours
Vocabulairy: 46 hours
Reading: Reading before bedtime at least 3 times a week
Nihongo no mori: one day a week
There is around 50 days left until the test so my updates will go out once or more a week until the test is over. Wish me luck!
DAY 1 Oct 13th
Mainly prepaired to study. Cleaned my desk, gathered my books... It is importand to have a good learning surrounding! After work I met up with a friend and he told me he is also going to London for the N2! I'm not alone =D But after that I didn't review anything.
DAY 2 Oct 14th
I got off early from work and went to study grammer in the library for an hour.
Progress: Grammar, one hour. Japanese news 15 minutes. Vocabulairy list 1 page.
